NH Dog Training is a certified, professional, and insured business with over 18 years of animal experience, offering in-home dog training and dog walking. We are recommended by veterinarians, trainers, groomers, and other dog professionals in southern, NH. Chris St. Lawrence, the owner, has trained thousands of animals using behavior modification and positive reinforcement, including, dogs, cats, dolphins, whales, penguins, sea lions, seals, and exotic birds.

 

Chris has always had a gift for working with animals. In 2004, he started his professional career working in many veterinary hospitals, kennels and animal shelters. In 2006, he started working as a marine mammal trainer at Sea Life Park Hawaii. He gained a wealth of knowledge and skills about animal behavior, training and care. After his adventures in Hawaii, Chris continued to advance his skills while working in aquariums, such as Miami Seaquarium and Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut. After over 5 years of training marine mammals, he moved back to his home state of New Hampshire and opened NH Dog Training in 2013.

Chris lives in Milford, NH with his wife, 2 children, and 2 dogs, Lexi and Liberty. When he's not training dogs and running his business, he usually can be found, camping, exploring the outdoors, or playing music around New England. Chris has also been a drummer for 25 years.
